			<description><![CDATA[ Well I figured as long as I had this apart and considering the necessity of proper &#39;lubrication&#39;, and as long as I have it, I cleaned up the extrusions
that are attached to the links and put three coats of silicone glaze auto polish on them. Don&#39;t know if it&#39;ll do any good but figure it can&#39;t hoit.
They are nice and slippery.

			<description><![CDATA[ When I purchased my Ramada the gear boxes were removed and there was one chain hanging out of the gear box

 hole. When I thought I had all the loose chain links out, 56 1/2 links per chain, I began using a mineral spirits soaked rag and wire fish to clean the chain
channels. I would run into snags once in a while with succeeding passes. Low and behold another chain link fell out and a rather scrapped up pop rivet head. My
assumption is that&#39;s why an extrusion was so beaten up at the... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Is this supposed to be bent up in all these different ways? Plus it rotates 180 degrees with ease. From what I have observed so far it seems like, and does
when lifting the extrusion by hand, interferes with the raising. All four are this way.

If it&#39;s not right would I run into any issues by removing them, correcting them and pop riveting them back on?...with the head outward of course.

			<description><![CDATA[ Went through the gear boxes this weekend, but I still need to re-install the front box. I know that the rear box had a ton of dirt/debris in it, and it now
works much better. When I pulled it I couldn&#39;t turn it by hand, now it turns easily. A big thanks to those on the board who have provided the information
on doing this job.

			<description><![CDATA[ It&#39;s been stressed to use Silicon for chain lubrication. Does anyone have any idea about Teflon? Specifically Dupont Multi-use Teflon Lubricant. The can
says it Sets up dry, No oily or greasy film, Penetrates and Protects Without Attracting Dirt. Sounds good to me. But is it acceptable for these chains?

			<description><![CDATA[ Okay, so I missed the part about when cleaning the (gear box) bearings, if too good a job is done the needle bearings will fall out <img src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/grin.gif" alt="image">. Luckily I didn&#39;t lose any. Guess it&#39;s my own fault. It&#39;s just been so many years
since I worked on such bearing setups. The up side is I&#39;m now able to clean the bearing races and the needles completely so there&#39;s no old gunk
residue...all new clean clean lubrication.... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Got one of the gear boxes disassembled and yup them too have/had gaskets. I&#39;ve got detailed print outs on the rehab of the gear boxes and there is no
mention of the gaskets between the two halves that were part of the factory assembly. And if I missed it I apologize, I haven&#39;t read anything on this forum
about gaskets between the two halves of the gear boxes. Do I need to call Apache for new gaskets or do they not need a gasket?

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve noticed in every gear box rehab photo the gaskets are gone. Mine too. I&#39;m trying to think of a really thin rubberized material to fashion new ones
from. I&#39;m thinking that would do an even better job of keeping out road grime. I know thickness is going to be paramount for proper tooth to chain
engagement. Any suggestions?

bed, does not extend fully... By about 1.5 or so inches. The orther side is fine. It cranks closed, however, the same bed- doesnt go in all the way.... We had
to tie the top down for the 4hr drive home. I&#39;m not real mechanically inclined (my 12yr old probably is better at stuff like that)... But no one around

			<description><![CDATA[ Ok, so I bought a 73 mesa, Paid a wopping $100 for it. Trust me there was a catch.... and no the problem I am about to explain is not the catch. I was packing
it up last week to take it to the body shop to have the latex Ford blue taken off and sprayed to make it look pretty pretty... In trying to raise the sides I
may have accidentally broken my front drivers side chain. The road cover goes about 18 inches up and gets stuck, will come down. The drivers front corner seems
