			<description><![CDATA[ I was driving back home from downtown and decided to swing in to a nearby RV store to kill some time.  They were having an end-of-season yard sale so I looked
around and found a couple of bag awnings.  This one was a new 12&#39; Jayco with a nice frame set up that was marked down to $85.  I talked with the owner and
got him down to $75 to close the deal.  He also threw in some additional hardware for free.  Here is a pic of my quick set up when I got home......

			<title><![CDATA[ Road cover bow. ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have the same issue so many have had with the road cover bowing downward....the wrong way. I&#39;ve also seen the fix using the turnbuckles and rods to draw
the sides of the road cover in and bowing the roof up.

My problem is I&#39;m 6&#39; 1&quot;. As it is it I barely miss scraping the roof as it is. The &#39;drawing rods&#39; would assure my having to stoop just a
bit traveling through the camper. Or just lose more hair than I have already.

			<description><![CDATA[ We&#39;ve just bought a 72 Apache Ramada which is in really good condition. We&#39;ve had to buy one gear box, and will probably purchase another one before
it&#39;s over. Most other work needed is cosmetic. I want to reupholster the seat cushions and redo the curtains. The seat cushions I can handle, but I&#39;m
not sure how to remove the curtains from the tracks above the windows. I know I can purchase curtain tab tape, and I can handle making the curtains themselves.

			<description><![CDATA[ I have an Apache Eagle and was looking for some good modification ideas. My zippers are all the old metal ones and the teeth are falling off, I am gonna have
someone put new plastic ones on but am not sure if it would be more cost effective to just get new canvas because of all of the inside zippers I figure the
labor will be $$$.  I was thinking about Velcro on the window ones and just zippers on front and back. But don&#39;t know if that is a good idea. Any help

			<title><![CDATA[ bed supports ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I had one of the plastic pieces that hold the bed supports in break. My wife and I are both heavy and I am concerned about the support poles being heavy
enough. I am canistering making poles that will go strait to the ground, may be out of 1/2&quot; or 3/4&quot; pipe. They would have to be adjustable for
leveling purposes. The adjustment could be done with all thread. Has anyone attempted something similar to this? Did it work?

springs). I had planned to do that this weekend, It became a must after adding the back bumper. I did it today and I have taken pictures. I am going to explain

			<description><![CDATA[ A Month or so ago I bought a 1972 Apache Roamer. The man I bought it form said it needed the gears replaced on the front gearbox. He had a used set that should
work. I rebuilt the front gear box, and it still would not lift. I dropped the gear boxes and raised the camper by hand (come a longs) that was a chore. I put
the gear boxes back on to lower the camper when I noticed that I had installed the front gears backwards so I took it back off and lowered it by hand (after

			<description><![CDATA[ I recently replaced my original (green) curtains with &quot;temporary miniblinds&quot; from Home Depot. These thin plastic accordian-style blinds have an
adhesive strip at the top which I attached just above the curtain tab track. It really brightens up the camper and looks nice from the outside. Very easy to
open and close as well.
