Has anyone carried a small boat ontop of their eagle,with alluminum clam shell,or their buffalo mesa?

Posts from other apache sites mostly say that an eagle clam shell and body are not designed to handle the weight of a boat.Possibly by adding a support
attached to frame.Someday this may become another project to build a boat frame.
